Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi presents the AD.WE digital platform during… "GITEX Global 2025"
ABU DHABI, 10th October, 2018 (WAM) – During its participation in “GITEX Global 2025” within the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion, the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy is showcasing its digital system and initiatives supported by artificial intelligence, which contribute to reshaping the energy, water, central cooling, and petroleum products sector in the emirate, including the pioneering AD.WE platform, supported by artificial intelligence, for managing Abu Dhabi’s resources.
The department’s participation in GITEX Global confirms Abu Dhabi’s leadership in developing smart infrastructure and future energy systems, by accelerating the adoption of smart technologies, in line with the UAE’s goals to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
Participation in the event will provide an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and attract investments to accelerate the pace of innovation in various fields of the energy, water, central cooling and petroleum products sector.
During the event, the department will display a group of digital projects supported by artificial intelligence technologies and innovative solutions aimed at enhancing energy efficiency, flexibility and sustainability.
In this context, the pioneering AD.WE platform was developed locally in the UAE, which is the first of its kind globally, in cooperation with Brisight, to provide real-time analyzes that improve the efficiency of the energy and water sectors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
This platform reflects the great potential offered by advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions through informed, data-based decision-making.
In its forty-fifth session, GITEX Global will bring together industry leaders, innovators and investors to highlight the importance of emerging technologies, from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, and their role in transforming economies and promoting progress globally.
